Job summary

The Northbridge Companies in Maine is seeking a friendly Server/Waitstaff to join our culinary family. Working closely with our Culinary Director, you will help deliver meals from kitchen to table and ensure residents enjoy great service.

You will greet residents, share daily menus, keep the dining area clean and safe, and accommodate special requests. Prior restaurant or guest-service experience is welcome, but training is provided; criminal background screening is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in restaurant or customer service is preferred but training is provided.
• Be friendly and approachable to welcome guests.
• Stay positive during busy periods to maintain high service levels.
• Be patient and understanding when guests have requests or concerns.
• Ensure dining area remains clean, safe, and well-presented.

Responsibilities

• Check dishes for presentation before serving to residents.
• Speak with residents about the daily menu and ensure satisfaction.
• Keep the dining room and kitchen area clean and comply with safety rules.
• Communicate special requests clearly to the kitchen.
• Reset the dining room after each meal and maintain a welcoming space.
