Job summary

Dimensions Living Appleton is hiring a part-time server to support meal service in our senior living community. You will assist in preparing and serving meals, maintain dining area cleanliness, and help residents with meals with kindness.

We value hospitality, integrity, respect, and teamwork. No prior healthcare experience required—we provide training. Schedule is 4:00-6:00pm, every other weekend/holiday rotation. Equal Opportunity Employer.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or healthcare preferred but not required—we’ll train the right person.
• Ability to follow instructions, multitask, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks in accordance with resident care plans and dietary guidelines.
• Set up dining areas and ensure meals are served on time, at the proper temperature, and with presentation in mind.
• Provide meal assistance to residents as needed with kindness and respect.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, work areas, and dining spaces following food safety protocols.
• Wash dishes, utensils, and cookware using proper sanitation procedures.
• Dispose of food and waste appropriately and ensure compliance with health department standards.
• Greet residents warmly and create a positive dining experience at every meal.
