Job summary

Senior Lifestyle is seeking a friendly food service associate for a Senior Living community in Blue Island, IL. You will take orders, relay them to the kitchen, and deliver meals to residents and guests with prompt, courteous service.

Pay starts at $16.60 per hour, with benefits including health/dental/vision, retirement plans, disability coverage, and paid time off. DailyPay is available; vaccination may be required unless exempt. Training provided and advancement possible.

Qualifications

• No experience is necessary; training provided.
• Must complete food safety training and hold any required local, state, and/or county licenses/certificates.
• Clear English communication is required.
• Basic computer skills for POS and payroll systems.
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
• Ability to solve practical problems with limited standardization.
• Maintain a positive and friendly demeanor toward residents and co-workers.

Responsibilities

• Accept food orders, communicate with kitchen, and deliver food/beverage to residents/guests promptly.
• Ensure resident/guest satisfaction by responding quickly to needs and requests.
• Actively buss and reset tables and complete assigned side work.
• Maintain a professional demeanor toward residents, visitors, and co-workers.
