Job summary

Senior Lifestyle is seeking a friendly Food Service Associate to provide prompt, courteous service of meals to residents and guests in our community. You will communicate orders to the kitchen, deliver food and beverages, and help with clearing tables and side work.

No prior experience is required, but prior food service is a plus. You will complete food safety training to meet local requirements. Vaccination proof is required unless exempt for medical, religious, or personal reasons.

Qualifications

• No experience is necessary, though previous food service experience is preferred.
• You will have to undergo food safety training to obtain/licenses as required.
• Clear and effective English communication is required.
• Basic computer skills are needed for POS and payroll systems.
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
• Ability to solve practical problems in variable situations.
• Maintain a positive and friendly demeanor with residents and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Take food orders, communicate with the kitchen, and deliver meals to residents/guests promptly.
• Ensure resident/guest satisfaction by addressing needs and requests quickly.
• Bus and reset tables, and complete assigned side work.
• Maintain a positive, professional demeanor toward residents, guests, and coworkers.
