Job summary

New Perspective Senior Living in Lakewood, OH is seeking a personable Server to support residents and guests with a high‑quality dining experience. Use your hospitality skills to take orders, explain menu options, and ensure meals are delivered promptly while maintaining a welcoming dining room.

Shifts available 6:30a‑2:30p or 11a‑7p; wage $13 per hour. You will follow sanitary procedures, assist the dining room setup and cleanup, and help with special diet needs.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in restaurant, dining hospitality and/or full-service senior living preferred
• A positive attitude and an ability to work well under pressure
• Able to perform high quality work while unsupervised
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver orders in a timely fashion

Responsibilities

• Engages with residents in a friendly manner with service and a can-do attitude
• Demonstrates menu knowledge and makes suggestions
• Takes food and drinks orders from residents with accuracy
• Delivers food in a timely manner
• Ensures residents enjoy meals and addresses any issues promptly
• Collects payment from residents and guests when needed
• Enters orders into the POS system for kitchen transmission
• Maintains grooming and hygiene standards
• Checks dining room readiness, cleanliness, safety, and health compliance
• Sets up and resets tables per dining room procedures
• Knows specialty diet needs and where to find information
• Practices safe food handling
• Assists the food preparation team when necessary
