Discovery Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Security Team member to safeguard our community assets and residents. You will promote safety, deter incidents, and respond to emergencies while delivering excellent service in a compassionate, resident-focused environment.

The role is part-time and located at 5055 West Panther Creek Dr., The Woodlands, TX 77381. Candidates should be reliable, with a proactive approach to security and safety.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Applicable state Security Officer License preferred but not required
• One year job related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct safety and security inspections of common areas and perimeter.
• Examine doors, windows and gates to ensure they are secure.
• Patrol community property to prevent and detect unlawful activity.
• Watch for and report hazards such as fire hazards and unsecured doors.
• Investigate and report acts of unlawful or safety hazards.
• Investigate incidents and file incident reports.
• Respond to security calls and handle on-scene emergencies until supervisor arrives.
• Secure and unlock areas in accordance with policy.
• Assist in emergency response procedures per policy.
• Ensure outside furniture or fixtures are secure in inclement weather.
• May be required to drive the community vehicle if necessary.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
