Job summary

Cedarhurst Senior Living is seeking a Sales Specialist to connect with residents and families daily, driving community occupancy and leads through external marketing and referrals. This is a corporate support role with regional deployment across communities within the Cedarhurst network.

You will coordinate moves, train other sales-oriented roles, manage databases, and partner with leadership to optimize marketing plans. Occasional overnights and local travel are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred.
• 2+ years of successful sales experience, ideally in senior living.
• Proven closing skills with occupancy results.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and web-based tools.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary contact for phone inquiries and walk-in visitors to drive occupancy.
• Conduct outside marketing to increase professional referrals.
• Identify resident needs and guide them toward appropriate living options.
• Follow up to build trusting relationships with leads and families.
• Document marketing activities in the provided database per standards.
• Monitor budgets and lead generation spend for campaigns.
• Collaborate with regional leadership to develop programs and referrals.
• Support staff development in sales and relationship-building.
