Job summary

Lifespace Communities, a premier operator of non-profit senior living communities, is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our clinical team. You will deliver direct nursing care, supervise staff, coordinate care with physicians and the interdisciplinary team, and ensure accurate documentation for residents in a long-term facility.

Qualified candidates hold an RN license with state licensure; one year of LTC nursing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Certifications and Registered Nurse license and other licensure required by state regulations.
• One year of nursing experience in a long-term facility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing services to residents on assigned neighborhoods.
• Oversee physician orders and transcribe to electronic records and treatment plans.
• Administer medications and provide treatments per orders.
• Supervise and lead clinical and non-clinical team members.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to review and coordinate resident care.
• Document resident condition and nursing needs accurately and promptly.
• Coordinate admissions, discharges, and transfers to ensure continuity of care.
• Plan admissions with physician, verify orders, and notify pharmacy/lab as needed.
• Deliver accurate handoff reports to oncoming shift for continuity of care.
