Job summary

Qualifications

• Current, valid North Carolina RN license.
• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing.
• CPR certification with ongoing in-service training.
• Ability to supervise staff, make clinical decisions, and work collaboratively.
• Dependable, flexible, with patience, tact, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Follow physician’s orders, comply with regulations, and adhere to facility policies.
• Administer medications (oral, SQ, IM, IV) as prescribed and document appropriately.
• Supervise and guide nursing assistants and orderlies, ensuring tasks are completed accurately.
• Assist physicians during rounds, physical exams, and treatments, providing patient care and support.
• Perform scheduled treatments, maintain infection control standards, and ensure cleanliness and safety.
• Support quality improvement initiatives and assist with patient records, assessments, and admissions.
• Coordinate physicals and ensure timely documentation for new and existing patients.
