Job summary

Prestige Care and Rehabilitation - Pinewood Terrace is seeking a Resident Services Director to lead personal and health care services in our community, ensuring regulatory compliance and resident satisfaction. You will direct care teams, coordinate with physicians and staff, and support a safe, thriving environment for residents and their families.

You will supervise staff, develop care plans, monitor changes in health status, and ensure smooth move-in processes.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited college.
• One year geriatric setting experience and one year supervisory experience or equivalent.
• First Aid and CPR certification is required.
• Excellent written and oral communication and motivational skills.
• Ability to creatively problem-solve in resident care and staff management.

Responsibilities

• Direct personal care attendants and report to Executive Director and health services leaders.
• Ensure resident rights, fair treatment, privacy, and civil rights are upheld.
• Provide health services per Prestige policies and regulatory requirements.
• Perform pre-move-in Level of Care determinations and coordinate move-in processes.
• Complete a Service Plan for each resident and ensure care levels are accurate.
• Monitor health status changes and notify family or physician as needed.
• Liaise with physicians, PAs, or NPs for reviews of care plans and orders.
• Oversee orientation and ongoing training for new and current staff.
