Job summary

Cedarhurst Senior Living is seeking a Regional Director of Operations to provide strategic leadership across assigned senior living communities. The role reports to the Divisional Director of Operations and emphasizes delivering high-quality resident experiences, strong leadership teams, and compliant, financially sound operations.

This travel-intensive position requires frequent weekly travel across communities and includes auto and phone allowances.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field.
• 9+ years of senior housing operations leadership experience.
• Experience supervising Executive Directors across multiple communities.
• Must understand assisted living, memory care and independent living regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist Executive Directors in building management teams through interviewing, hiring, training, and coaching.
• Support occupancy goals by ensuring communities are tour-ready and handling post-tour follow-ups.
• Oversee community satisfaction surveys and drive high satisfaction levels.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Conduct monthly budget variance reviews and analyze spend-down and DOMO reports.
• Visit communities, monitor operations, and address deficiencies with department heads as needed.
• Oversee open positions and ensure timely recruitment and appropriate candidates.
