Job summary

Cedarhurst Senior Living seeks a Regional Director of Operations to provide strategic leadership across assigned senior living communities. You will drive performance, support Executive Directors, ensure regulatory compliance, and optimize financial operations to sustain high resident experience and service excellence.

This role requires frequent weekly travel across communities and includes auto and phone allowances to support a mobile, travel-based workload.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field or 9+ years of senior operational leadership experience.
• Applicable state licensure or certification as required.
• Minimum of five (5) years of senior housing operations experience with proven leadership and organizational skills.
• Experience supervising Executive Directors across multiple communities.
• Strong knowledge of assisted living, memory care, and independent living regulations in all states within the region.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with older adults.
• Staffing, team development, and retention experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist Executive Directors in building and coaching their management teams.
• Support occupancy goals by ensuring communities are tour-ready and following up after tours.
• Oversee resident satisfaction surveys and drive improvements.
• Ensure regulatory compliance across all communities.
• Review monthly budget variance and communicate findings to leadership.
• Travel as needed up to four days per week.
