Lake Ella Manor, a 73-unit senior residential community in Tallahassee, FL, is seeking a dependable Maintenance Technician. This role maintains the property including buildings, apartments, common areas, and grounds, and supports daily operations by handling maintenance requests, turnover, and preventative tasks.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years in maintenance, strong mechanical/electrical/plumbing knowledge, and can read manuals.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years in the maintenance field.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals.
• Skilled in using hand and power tools for repairs.
• Basic proficiency in English for effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Maintain interior and exterior appearance of buildings and property through daily maintenance tasks.
• Complete unit turnovers within 3 days of move-out when needed.
• Perform painting and preventive maintenance per schedule.
• Assist in inspections and respond to work orders promptly.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues.
• Coordinate with vendors and monitor landscape contractor performance.
• Follow safety protocols and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents and staff.
• Keep the maintenance shop organized and secure property keys.
