Job summary

RHF (Retirement Housing Foundation) seeks a dependable Maintenance Technician for Lake Ella Manor in Tallahassee, FL. You will maintain building exteriors, interiors, and grounds, respond promptly to service requests, and support turnover and preventative maintenance programs for a senior residential community.

The role requires 2+ years in maintenance, strong mechanical/electrical/plumbing knowledge, and familiarity with RealPage Maintenance Facilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years in the maintenance field.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems; read and interpret manuals.
• Proficient with hand and power tools for repair and maintenance tasks.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical work.
• Solid English communication and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Familiarity with RealPage Maintenance Facilities software.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily interior and exterior maintenance of buildings and common areas.
• Complete unit turnovers within 3 days of move-out, when needed.
• Assist with painting and preventative maintenance per schedule.
• Respond to work orders and document details in OneSite.
• Address maintenance emergencies, including after-hours as needed.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues; repair appliances.
