Job summary

Lake Ella Manor in Tallahassee, FL, part of RHF Management, Inc., seeks a dependable Maintenance Technician to maintain building exteriors, common areas, and grounds, respond to service requests, assist with turnovers, and participate in preventative maintenance programs.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of maintenance experience, strong mechanical, electrical, and plumbing knowledge, the ability to read manuals, and proficiency with hand and power tools.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years in the maintenance field.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals.
• Skilled in using hand and power tools for repair and maintenance tasks.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and endure standing and repetitive activities.
• Basic proficiency in English for effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily janitorial duties in common areas to maintain interior and exterior appearance.
• Complete unit turnovers within 3 days of move-out, as necessary.
• Perform painting duties and execute preventative maintenance tasks per schedule.
• Assist in apartment and systems inspections as required.
• Respond to work orders, prioritize by urgency, and log details into OneSite.
• Address maintenance emergencies, including after-hours, weekends, and holidays.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues, including appliance repairs.
• Coordinate with vendors and monitor landscape contractor for satisfactory work.
• Follow safety protocols and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents and internal stakeholders.
• Maintain a neat, organized maintenance shop daily.
• Maintain property security and secure all keys.
