Job summary

The W Group Mgmt is hiring a Porter to join our assisted living community in New York. The role focuses on keeping the facility clean, safe, and welcoming for residents and staff, with a Sunday–Thursday shift from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Qualifications

• Ability to interact with residents with respect and dignity.
• Strong multitasking skills.
• Prior experience as a Porter or Housekeeper in an assisted living facility is a big plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the general cleanliness and sanitation of the facility
• Periodically tour the facility and grounds, checking doors, windows, and equipment for proper working order
• Report any unusual conditions or malfunctions in heating, plumbing, or electrical systems, or any other incidents, to the Maintenance Director
• Log all incidents in the communication log and manage them appropriately
• Perform other duties as needed
