Job summary

Westminster Towers Orlando is seeking a Physical Therapist to assess residents, plan care, and provide direct treatment for a general rehab caseload. You will supervise licensed therapists, assistants, technicians, aides, and students as needed, and participate in clinical program development. Weekend work is required.

The role requires FL licensure as a Physical Therapist; prior long-term care, med-surg or home health experience is desirable. Lymphedema certification is required.

Qualifications

• Florida Physical Therapist license required.
• One year of long-term care experience desirable.
• Med-surg/home health experience helpful.
• Lymphedema certification required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat physical conditions to restore mobility as ordered by MD.
• Design and carry out Care Plan.
• Conduct assessments and screens to determine therapy needs.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation and update the system.
• Perform Resident Home Assessments and discharge-related screenings.
