Job summary

South Port Square is seeking a dedicated Painter to perform interior and exterior painting and wallcovering maintenance across the community. You will help keep high-traffic areas visually appealing and ensure vacated units are restored to like-new conditions.

The role requires knowledge of painting techniques, English proficiency, problem-solving ability, and a flexible, safety-minded approach. Full-time, Monday–Friday 7:00 AM–3:30 PM with benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of commercial and residential painting/wallcovering.
• Proficiency in the English language enabling reading/writing/comprehension of simple instructions.
• Ability to apply common sense to follow written or oral instructions.
• Ability to handle problems with few concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Willingness to be available for emergencies in the community.
• Doctor’s statement verifying no communicable disease, if applicable in your state

Responsibilities

• Perform assigned painting/wallcovering as directed.
• Maintain esthetics of high traffic common areas (painting and wallcovering).
• Restore painted areas in vacated units to like-new conditions.
• Perform drywall repairs as needed.
• Complete tasks in priority order set by supervisor.
• Observe safety precautions around residents, staff, and visitors.
• Maintain tools, equipment and supplies in proper condition.
• Support creating a culture where decisions drive revenue and occupancy.
