Goodwin Living in Alexandria, VA seeks a skilled painter to maintain resident apartments and common areas. You will perform interior and exterior painting, wall coverings, drywall patching, and light carpentry while meeting turnover deadlines. The role offers Monday–Friday 7am–3pm and pay of $26/hr.

Formación

• Proven experience in professional painting, drywall finishing, and light carpentry.
• Working knowledge of commercial and residential painting and wall covering.
• Ability to work efficiently under turnover deadlines with high attention to detail.
• Ability to use power tools and painting equipment.
• Strong team player mentality and willingness to assist with general maintenance.

Responsabilidades

• Perform residential painting/wall covering as scheduled.
• Maintain the esthetics of high traffic common areas (painting and wall covering).
• Restore painted areas in vacated apartments to a new-like condition for new residents.
• Perform custom painting/wall covering services as contracted by residents.
• Patching and sanding repairs and use of drywall tools as needed.
• Prepare written communications to request materials and report on work orders.
• Assist with light maintenance duties as needed.
• Identify and repair scuffs, dents, or damage in hallways and spaces.
• Handle finish carpentry including baseboards, trim, cabinetry, and doors.
• Assist facilities team with basic plumbing and lighting updates; respond to emergencies.
• Maintain a clean workspace and inventory of materials, ensuring safety standards.
