Job summary

Cogir Senior Living in Fountain Hills, AZ, seeks an Assistant Executive Director to support the Executive Director in planning, implementing, and evaluating operations, including P&L responsibility and serving as the community's sales leader and HR point of contact.

The role is full-time, Mon-Fri, 9am-5:30pm, located at 16455 E. Avenue of the Fountains, Fountain Hills, AZ 85268. Compensation ranges from $80,000 to $90,000 per year, based on experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, human services, gerontology, or a related field.
• At least five (5) years of leadership experience in retirement housing, hospitality, or healthcare management.
• Proven history of building sales and meeting financial goals.
• Knowledge of CRM, ATS, HRIS and related systems.
• Strong communication, initiative, problem-solving, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Assist with overall community operations; act as a liaison to staff, residents, and external partners.
• Direct oversight of front desk staff, including training and supervision.
• Support recruiting efforts and build a high-functioning team.
• Oversee hiring, promotions, and disciplinary actions with focus on retention.
• Lead new-hire onboarding and staff development initiatives.
• Support resident care programs and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Assist with budget management and cash flow to minimize variances.
• Participate in on-site sales activities, tours, and events.
• Maintain positive relationships with residents, staff, and the community.
