Job summary

Distinctive Living seeks an Executive Director for its Mira Vie Bridgewater community to lead daily operations, ensure resident satisfaction, and drive occupancy while aligning with regulatory and corporate goals.

Ideal candidate has 2–4 years in senior leadership within healthcare/gerontology settings, plus relevant certifications and a strong background in budgeting and staff development.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's degree in healthcare, gerontology, business or related field preferred.
• Minimum 2-4 years' related experience.
• Advanced knowledge of the organization and industry.
• State/Local certifications as required to be an administrator.
• Valid driver's license and clear driving record.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Advanced interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead all operations and serve as the main contact for staff, residents, and partners.
• Supervise, direct, and motivate community staff.
• Maintain high resident satisfaction and retention through quality services.
• Develop annual operating and capital budgets with Regional Operations.
• Hire, train, and discipline staff per company policy.
• Ensure facilities meet company standards and regulatory requirements.
• Represent the facility to governmental and community groups.
• Utilize sales and marketing to maximize occupancy.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
