Job summary

Riverside Health System in Williamsburg, Virginia is seeking an administrative leader to oversee the strategic planning, daily operations, staffing, budgeting, quality improvement, resident satisfaction, financial management and regulatory compliance for an assisted living facility.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree (preferred) and 1 year of supervisory experience; licensure as a Nursing Home Administrator or Assisted Living Facility Administrator is required upon hire.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 5 years of commensurate experience required.
• 1 year recent administrative or supervisory experience preferred.
• Licensed Nursing Home Administrator or Assisted Living Facility Administrator (VDHP) upon hire required or similar license as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Completes UAI's, ISP's, and reviews medical records for potential residents.
• Ensures the facility/department is in compliance with applicable regulatory statutes, standards of care, job performance and competency standards.
• Facilitates department meetings to ensure employees are informed on facility & regulatory expectations and goals.
• Meets with residents and/or responsible party in one on one meetings or group meetings/councils.
• Continuously improve the delivery and outcomes of comprehensive, quality, personalized patient/customer care economically and in accordance with patient safety standards.
• Coordinates the activities of Assisted Living with other departments in the development of resident care programs, policies, and procedures to assess, evaluate, and meet the needs of residents receiving care.
