Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; some college or technical coursework preferred.
• Experience with Medicaid, Medicare, and private pay is preferred.
• Office management experience is preferred; strong billing knowledge desired.
• Geriatric/long-term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages billing, accounts receivable, and collection activities in the center.
• Oversees business office operations and supervises staff per policies.
• Gathers payer information and inputs data into the EHR accurately.
• Supports MedicaidPending applications and works with families to secure coverage.
• Maintains confidentiality and integrity of patient financial data.
• Manages census balancing and monthly reporting related to billing.
