Job summary

Merrill Gardens at Madison is seeking a compassionate Senior Living Nurse for a PRN/on-call role with 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift availability. The nurse will support residents on their wellness journey in a family-centered community that values dignity and individual needs.

Eligible candidates hold an LPN/LVN or RN license in the state and have a minimum of 1 year nursing experience, preferably in geriatric care.

Qualifications

• Current LPN/LVN or RN license in the state.
• 1-year nursing experience minimum (geriatrics preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide high-level customer service to Residents and Team Members as per MG CARES standards.
• Support Merrill Gardens' philosophy, goals, and programs.
• Mentor caregiving team members in resident services.
• Maintain respectful, confidential conduct toward residents, staff and visitors.
• Help create a calm, warm atmosphere throughout the community.
• Assist with providing management reports as requested.
• Attend in-service trainings as directed.
• Provide medication services as allowed by state regulations and resident plans.
• Document the results of services and evaluations.
• Communicate with families, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
• Provide direct care to residents per policy and state requirements.
• Be available by phone when on duty.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
