Legacy House of Bountiful is seeking a compassionate Medication Technician/QMAP to support our senior residents with medication administration, personal care, and daily wellness needs. You’ll work closely with licensed nurses in a resident-centered team to promote independence, dignity, and safety.

Qualifications

• Current CNA or Caregiver Certification in the state you are applying in (if applicable).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a Certified Medication Technician program, QMAP or equivalent medication training.
• 0–1 year of caregiving, medication administration, senior living, or related experience preferred.
• Basic understanding of medical terminology and care procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to accurately follow medication and care instructions.
• Compassionate, patient‑centered approach to working with seniors.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, supervisors, nurses, and coworkers.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Willingness to work with elderly residents and support their well‑being.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications as ordered by physicians and under the direction of a Licensed Nurse.
• Complete treatments and care tasks within the scope of your training and authorization.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including personal care and bathing.
• Monitor residents and promptly report significant changes in condition.
• Accurately document medication administration, services provided, and resident responses.
• Provide skin care and change simple dressings for non‑infected conditions.
• Assist with transfers and other physical care needs as appropriate.
• Provide companionship, emotional support, and compassionate care to residents.
• Maintain resident privacy, confidentiality, and rights at all times.
• Follow community safety, sanitation, hygiene, and appearance standards.
