Job summary

Vi Living's Avalon of Commerce Township is seeking a dedicated Medication Technician to support residents in a senior living community. You will assist with daily personal care, meals, and activities while ensuring safety and compassionate care for residents.

Responsibilities include documenting care, communicating with families and staff, and responding quickly to call lights and emergencies. A GED or high school diploma and CNA/PCA/HHA/RA experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year experience as CNA/PCA/HHA/RA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming, etc.).
• Assist residents with mealtime and food cutting, encourage eating.
• Complete shift assignments or report if unable to complete.
• Communicate with residents, families, and staff as needed.
• Provide planned activities and respond to call lights and emergencies promptly.
