Job summary

The Kensington in Hastings is seeking a compassionate Medication Aide to join our Agemark Senior Living community. Administer medications according to physician orders and care plans, and maintain accurate records.

This full-time position offers day and evening shifts with every other weekend, and a strong benefits package within an EPIC culture that celebrates excellence, personal investment, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must hold Nebraska 40-hour Medication Aide license.
• Must be available to work every other weekend and holidays.
• Strong communication with residents and team members.
• Careful adherence to medication procedures and documentation.
• Experience with electronic medication tracking a plus.
• Genuine interest in helping older adults.
• Reliable and supportive team member on each shift.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications according to physician orders and residents’ care plans.
• Maintain accurate medication administration records.
• Monitor residents for changes, side effects or concerns and report promptly.
• Assist residents with daily living while preserving dignity and independence.
• Build meaningful relationships with residents, families and teammates.
• Create a positive, compassionate environment on every shift.
