Job summary

Hillcrest Health & Rehab in Bellevue, NE is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our skilled nursing and rehab facility safe and well-maintained. The role involves performing repairs, coordinating with vendors, and supporting life safety and OSHA compliance.

The ideal candidate has HVAC knowledge, at least two years of maintenance experience, and a willingness to handle on-call shifts. Starting pay is $19.00 per hour, commensurate with experience, with full-time hours available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Two years of building maintenance experience preferred.
• HVAC schooling or knowledge preferred.
• Driver’s license preferred to operate company vehicle.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform repetitive movements.

Responsibilities

• Maintain physical plant standards to help ensure a safe, clean, and well-functioning environment.
• Perform building repairs, including drywall, painting, masonry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC troubleshooting, and other general maintenance needs.
• Respond to and complete work orders in a timely manner.
• Complete preventative maintenance tasks on schedule.
• Document completed work in asset management software.
• Support OSHA and Life Safety Code compliance standards.
• Assist other departments by moving and setting up equipment needed for resident and guest care.
• Coordinate with vendors as directed by the Environmental Services Director or Administrator.
• Assist with snow removal as needed.
• Perform Life Safety Code audits as needed.
• Be available for on-call support as needed and assigned.
