Job summary

Senior Resource Group is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician at Maravilla Santa Barbara. The role focuses on resident repair requests, unit turnovers, preventative maintenance, and emergency response to ensure safe, well-maintained living spaces.

Candidates should have basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, and HVAC knowledge, plus hand and power tools, multimeters, and EPA refrigerant certification where required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role.
• EPA certification for handling HVAC refrigerants is preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Fix resident repair requests, including plumbing leaks, broken appliances, and electrical issues.
• Prepare vacant apartments for new renters by painting, cleaning, and making repairs.
• Inspect building systems, HVAC filters, lighting, and common areas to prevent major breakdowns.
• Handle urgent after-hours issues like gas leaks, major water breaks, or electrical failures.
• Maintain property appearance, clear walkways, and follow safety and building codes.
