Job summary

OmahaCare Senior Living is seeking a Maintenance professional to keep the community and its surroundings in excellent condition. You will handle routine upkeep, unit turnover, and safety-related tasks to ensure resident comfort and property value.

The role requires coordination with the Housing Manager, attention to detail in common areas, and timely completion of work orders. On-call availability is expected for emergency situations and seasonal maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Maintains an attractive community by cleaning sidewalks and entrances, sweeping, trash pickup and removal, cleaning parking lot and leaf removal.
• Inspects driveways and sidewalks for repair, mows and edges lawns, maintains tree, shrub and planting care, and clears snow in parking areas.
• Performs routine cleaning and maintenance in lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and offices to preserve a professional appearance.
• Renovates vacated units by basic maintenance tasks, painting, and ensuring readiness for new residents.
• Responds to emergencies and coordinates with the Housing Manager and local authorities as needed.
