Frontier Senior Living is seeking an outstanding Environmental Services Assistant to join The Preserve at Spring Creek community in Garland, TX. The role supports the Environmental Services Director in maintaining common areas, resident apartments, grounds, and equipment, and may include driving the community van.

The incumbent will perform extensive maintenance tasks across carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, and more, while ensuring resident safety and satisfaction through proactive

Qualifications

• Must relate to the elderly in a positive manner.
• Must be a skilled maintenance person for general duties.
• Must maintain safe working practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide variety of building maintenance including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, masonry, drywall repair, small appliance and minor equipment repair and troubleshooting.
• Respond promptly to resident apartment maintenance or repairs.
• Inspect and prepare all apartments for rent ready status before new residents move in.
• Assist with painting of apartments and general maintenance tasks.
• Establish and follow a Preventive Maintenance Plan for plant, equipment, fixtures, and furnishings.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, building, fire and insurance codes.
• Provide safe transportation for residents when necessary.
