The Barrington of Carmel (A BHI Community) is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform routine and corrective maintenance across the community, ensuring safety and comfort for residents. You will document repairs, assist with on-site projects, and support campus operations with a focus on reliability and safety.

Shifts include first 9a-5p and second 3p-11p, with rotating weekends. Hallmarks of the role include teamwork, training opportunities, and a strong commitment to resident well-being

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with basic hand and electrical tools.
• Ability to participate in on-call/weekend rotations.
• Ability to read manuals and take measurements.

Responsabilités

• Perform routine and corrective maintenance on buildings, grounds, and equipment.
• Complete work orders with accurate repairs and close them promptly.
• Troubleshoot plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and related systems.
• Perform apartment turnovers and renovations for resident move-ins.
• Replace HVAC filters, bulbs, and perform general upkeep.
• Assist contractors on-site under leadership direction.
