Job summary

Monarch Landing in Naperville, IL, is seeking a Hospitality-focused Maintenance Technician II for a full-time, Tuesday–Saturday schedule (9:30am–6pm). Responsibilities include routine and emergency repairs, HVAC support, and maintenance record-keeping.

Requirements: high school diploma/GED, 1 year in relevant maintenance, HVAC preferred, valid IL driver's license. Salary is $24/hour with benefits starting after the first of the month post-hire.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of one year of experience in a residential apartment complex, commercial building, construction, or maintenance.
• HVAC experience preferred.
• Valid IL State driver’s license with a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine and emergency repairs (electrical, plumbing, lighting, appliance, doors/locks) and repairs/maintains equipment.
• Assists in servicing HVAC units/systems.
• Keeps complete and accurate records of repairs on equipment and vehicles.
• Responds to emergency calls for system and equipment failure.
• Performs preventative maintenance and participates in snow removal; on-call rotation.
