Monarch Landing in Naperville, IL is seeking a Maintenance Technician II with a hospitality focus to keep our community well-maintained and safe. This full-time role runs Tuesday through Saturday, 9:30am–6pm, and you will perform routine repairs, assist in HVAC tasks, and help with preventative maintenance.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, technical schooling or 1 year of maintenance experience, and a valid IL driver's license.

Qualifications

• Technical schooling or 1 year maintenance experience required.
• Valid IL driver's license with good driving record.
• HVAC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine and emergency repairs (electrical, plumbing, lighting, doors, etc.).
• Assists in servicing HVAC units/systems.
• Keeps detailed records of repairs and maintenance.
• Responds to emergency calls for system failures.
• Performs preventative maintenance and participates in on-call rotation.

Monarch Landing is recruiting for a hospitality-focused Maintenance Technician II to join our team! This is a full-time position, Tuesday - Saturday, 9:30am-6pm.

Daily responsibilities of a Maintenance Technician II:

• Performs routine and emergency repairs such as correcting minor electrical malfunctions, plumbing work, repairing and replacing light bulbs and fixtures, appliance repairs, medical equipment, repairing doors and locks, etc…
• Assists in servicing HVAC units/systems.
• Keeps complete and accurate records of repairs of equipment and vehicles.
• Responds to emergency calls for system and equipment failure.
• Performs preventative maintenance, assists with snow removal, and is part of a scheduled on-call rotation.

Qualifications we need you to have:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Technical schooling or a minimum of one (1) year experience in a residential apartment complex, commercial building, construction, or maintenance is required.
• HVAC experience preferred
• Valid IL State driver's license with a good driving record.
