Job summary

TerraBella Senior Living is seeking a Maintenance Technician for Terra Bella of Hermitage Assisted Living. The role covers maintenance and housekeeping duties across the community grounds, buildings, and equipment, ensuring timely service requests and safe, well-maintained living spaces for residents.

The ideal candidate brings at least one year of maintenance experience, on-call availability, and a solid understanding of plumbing, electrical, mechanical systems, and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• One year of maintenance experience.
• On-call availability as needed.
• General understanding of plumbing, electrical, mechanical systems and code compliance.
• Knowledge of OSHA, fire prevention, life and safety regulations.
• Ability to respond to emergency calls outside of scheduled hours.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Good judgment, problem solving and decision-making abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and housekeeping duties in and around the community grounds as assigned.
• Complete service requests for repair and maintenance of all grounds, buildings, apartment homes, equipment and vehicles in a timely and cost-efficient manner.
• Fix wall and/or floor coverings, repair furniture and fixtures, basic plumbing, minor electrical repairs, repair appliances, paint and refurbish, work with heating/cooling systems, carpet and hard surface maintenance, and prepare rooms as needed.
