Job summary
Charter Senior Living in Newport News, VA is seeking a Maintenance/Environmental Service Assistant with assisted living experience. You will support the Environmental Services Director with daily maintenance of the community, including common areas, resident apartments, grounds, equipment and mechanical systems, and may drive the community van.

Qualifications
- Experience in assisted living or healthcare environment.
- Ability to perform general maintenance and assist Environmental Services Director.
- Willingness to respond on-call per regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
- Assist Environmental Services Director with maintenance of common areas, resident apartments, grounds, equipment and mechanical systems.
- Drive the community van as needed.
- On-site visits every 45 days for individualized assessments.
- Be available on call as required per regulatory standards.
