Job summary

Oakmont Management Group, based in Irvine, California, is seeking a Maintenance Director to lead the maintenance and housekeeping operations of Ivy Park at San Lauren. You will manage electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and general repairs to ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable community for residents.

Responsibilities include hands-on repairs, supervising maintenance and housekeeping staff, scheduling preventive maintenance, and coordinating with residents and teams to maintain a high

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Prefer 2 years in building maintenance and upkeep with basic electrical/plumbing knowledge.
• Prefer 1 year of supervising employees.
• Able to operate a variety of equipment safely.
• Knowledge of assisted living and dementia care is a plus.
• Able to work with seniors and communicate patiently.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate mechanical ability to service equipment (washers, dryers, refrigeration, heating units).
• Electrical duties: troubleshoot and repair outlets, switches, lighting, and call systems.
• Structural duties: plan and install cabinets, repair walls, and remodel apartments.
• Painting duties: interior and exterior painting and disposal of paints.
• Plumbing duties: repair faucets, showers, drains, and other plumbing issues.
• Conduct daily property inspections and address items to keep the property tour-ready.
