Job summary

Benchmark Senior Living LLC is seeking a full-time Cook for The Commons at Lincoln, a premier CCRC campus. You will prepare delicious and healthy meals in accordance with standards and policies, under the guidance of the Executive Chef.

Availabilities include Independent Living and Health Center, with a schedule that includes one weekend day. You will contribute to resident satisfaction through nutritious meals and quality presentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Culinary Arts training preferred.
• 2 years of dietary experience.
• Knowledge of dietary procedures, laws, regulations, and guidelines.
• Ability to lead and supervise kitchen staff.
• Be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Standing for extended periods is required.

Responsibilities

• Assures all dietary procedures are followed.
• Operate all kitchen equipment safely and effectively.
• Establish food production line to ensure meals are prepared on time.
• Represent the community with a positive attitude and pride when interacting with potential residents and families.
• Prepares and serves nutritious meals with high-quality presentation.
