Benchmark Senior Living's The Commons at Lincoln in Lincoln, AL seeks a full-time cook to prepare delicious, nutritious meals for residents and adhere to federal, state, and local standards under the Executive Chef’s guidance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Culinary Arts training preferred.
• 2 years of dietary experience required.
• Knowledge of dietary procedures, laws, and guidelines for food service operations.
• Demonstrated leadership ability and ability to supervise staff.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Standing for extended periods as needed.

Responsibilities

• Ensures all dietary procedures are followed.
• Operates kitchen equipment safely and efficiently (meat slicer, food processor, mixers, ovens, grills, steamers, dishwasher, dumb waiter, warmer).
• Assists in establishing food production lines to ensure timely meals.
• Represents the community with a positive attitude to residents and families.
• Prepares and serves nutritious meals with high-quality presentation.
