Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in quality food preparation.
  • Experience in scratch cooking in high-volume, fine dining settings.
  • 1-year previous dining experience in food preparation.

Our Line Cooks are responsible for:

  • Assisting in preparing all food items following production amounts, proper recipes, and procedures.
  • Ensuring all food items are prepared in a timely fashion, using batch-cooking and cook-to-order methods to ensure freshness.
  • Preparing food to meet high standards of Food Safety and dietary requirements of residents.
  • Attending all dining services meetings and trainings.
  • Maintaining kitchen sanitation and safety standards, including cleaning, proper food handling, documentation, and compliance with safety guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in quality food preparation.
  • Experience in scratch cooking in high-volume, fine dining settings.
  • Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, etc.
  • 1-year previous dining experience in food preparation.
  • High School diploma or GED; college degree or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements: This role involves frequent standing, walking, manual handling of materials up to 50 lbs, bending, lifting, and reaching. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.
