Job summary

The Bristal Assisted Living in Wayne, NJ is seeking a creative, compassionate Lifestyle Coordinator to assist in presenting and coordinating recreational programs for residents, including those in Reflections Memory Care. You will help plan safe outings to galleries, theaters, and events, and prepare monthly calendars and newsletters.

Requirements include at least one year working with seniors, event leadership experience, and strong communication and public speaking skills.

Qualifications

• One year of experience working with a senior population is required.
• Experience with residents with Alzheimer’s/dementia is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in presenting and coordinating recreational programs for residents, including Reflections Memory Care.
• Plan safe and engaging outings to art galleries, theaters, sports events, and other activities.
• Prepare and distribute monthly calendars, newsletters, and memos to residents.
