Job summary

Baptist Senior Family seeks a Life Enrichment Director to lead the Activities Department and create person-centered programming for residents across our Senior Living Community. You will oversee therapeutic programming, develop a dedicated team, and coordinate volunteers to enrich lives and promote wellness.

The role emphasizes leadership, resident engagement, and collaboration with families, staff, and leadership to deliver meaningful, creative experiences that align with our mission.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to develop and oversee engaging therapeutic and recreational programming.
• Ability to supervise, train, evaluate, and delegate responsibilities to staff.
• Ability to coordinate and manage a volunteer program.
• Ability to maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with requirements.
• Ability to work with residents, families, staff, volunteers, leadership, and providers.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the activity program across Nursing Center and Assisted Living.
• Develop and implement group and one-on-one therapeutic programming.
• Evaluate programming based on feedback and make improvements.
• Coordinate programming between Nursing Center and Assisted Living.
• Ensure staff time and resources meet resident needs.
• Oversee activity documentation and regulatory compliance.
• Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and meetings.
• Maintain department policies and procedures and budget.
