You will lead a team, plan activities and partnerships, and ensure programs meet state regulations. A passion for improving senior lives and a collaborative spirit are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Gerontology, Recreational Therapy, or related field preferred.
• 2+ years of leadership experience in senior living or healthcare.
• Proven ability to design and implement engaging programming.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Working knowledge of state regulations related to life enrichment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant software systems.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
• Genuine passion for improving the lives of senior adults.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive life enrichment strategy aligned with resident interests and abilities.
• Lead, mentor, and schedule life enrichment associates.
• Plan and facilitate activities, events, outings, and community partnerships.
• Track participation, satisfaction, and engagement outcomes.
• Manage department budget and resources responsibly.
• Ensure programs comply with state regulations and company standards.
• Partner with families to encourage involvement and connection.
• Promote a person-centered approach to engagement.
• Maintain accurate documentation and reporting.
