Job summary

Presbyterian Homes & Services – Shorewood Landing in Shorewood, MN, is seeking a Life Enrichment Director to lead, organize and evaluate a comprehensive life enrichment program for residents. You will supervise staff, collaborate with families and health teams, and ensure services meet regulatory standards and best practices.

The role emphasizes program development, resident engagement and education, with duties ranging from assessment to caregiver coordination and cross-team communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Therapeutic Recreation or related field or equivalent experience.
• Leadership experience in recreation program/event coordination.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal and regulatory knowledge.
• Compatibility with PHS’s mission and operating philosophies.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English to communicate with all customers.

Responsibilities

• Develop, plan, direct and implement a comprehensive life enrichment program for residents.
• Collaborate with residents and families to meet psychosocial and activity needs.
• Maintain documentation and care plans per regulations and procedures.
• Provide education, coaching and supervision for life enrichment programming.
• Promote resident engagement and advocate for the site.
