Presbyterian Homes & Services (PHS) invites applications for a Part-Time Life Enrichment Coordinator at Prairie Gate in Council Bluffs, IA. The role supports residents with engaging programs, social activities and meaningful pursuits, fostering well-being and purposeful living in a warm community.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and relationship-building with residents
• Experience planning recreation programming preferred
• Ability to work evenings and weekends for planned programs

Responsibilities

• Promote resident well-being and satisfaction by supporting residents in all areas of life
• Develop and interpret standards of care with the interdisciplinary team and family
• Improve systems to support resident-centered care and remove barriers
• Collaborate with residents, families, professionals and staff to implement programs
• Lead and participate in Chat Circles with residents and staff
• Assist residents with activities of their choice and provide leisure life activities
• Plan and participate in outings and special events
• Provide one-on-one interaction based on resident preferences
