Job summary

StoryPoint is seeking a Life Enrichment Assistant in Johnston, IA to support social welfare and resident interests through planned activities in a senior living community.

The role requires 1–3 years related experience, a flexible schedule (including weekends/holidays), and a compassionate approach to caring for seniors. Responsibilities include event coordination, administrative support, and ensuring resident safety across activities.

Qualifications

• Minimum one to three years related experience and/or training preferred.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Compassionate towards the senior population.
• Ability to work independently and in collaboration with a team.

Responsibilities

• Actively support our 1440 culture and pillars.
• Assist the Life Enrichment Director with planning, communication, and execution of activities and life skills.
• Support the Life Enrichment Director and Lead with administrative tasks as needed.
• Complete all tasks while maintaining a high level of resident safety.
• Support setup, cleanup, and upkeep of activity areas and community spaces.
• Assist transportation by attending outings and coordinating related tasks.
