Job summary

StoryPoint is seeking a Life Enrichment Assistant to support planning and delivering activities that enhance the social welfare and interests of residents in a senior living community in Silvis, Illinois.

Responsibilities include assisting the Life Enrichment Director with program direction, coordinating activities, and ensuring safety. The role requires flexibility in scheduling, a compassionate approach to seniors, and the ability to work both independently and with a team.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years related experience or training preferred.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Compassionate towards seniors.
• Ability to work independently and with a team.

Responsibilities

• Support the Life Enrichment Director with planning and execution of activities and life skills in the Life Enrichment department.
• Assist the Life Enrichment Director with overall direction, planning, communication, and execution of activities.
• Support Life Enrichment with administrative tasks as needed.
• Maintain resident safety while completing tasks.
• Assist with setup, cleanup, and upkeep of activity areas and spaces.
• Support transportation for outings and coordinate related tasks and safety practices.
• Uphold standards in the Employee Handbook.
