Job summary

StoryPoint in Gahanna, OH seeks a Life Enrichment Lead to plan and lead activities that support residents' welfare and interests in a senior living community. The Life Enrichment Lead will serve as an expert for personal programming for all residents within the community.

You will work with the Life Enrichment Director to direct activities, coordinate transportation, and ensure resident safety, while promoting engaging programs in a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum one to three years related experience and/or training preferred.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, which may include evenings, weekends, and holiday hours.
• Compassionate towards the senior population.
• Ability to work independently and in collaboration of team.

Responsibilities

• Actively support our 1440 culture and pillars.
• Assist the Life Enrichment Director with the overall direction, planning, communication, and execution of activities and life skills in the Life Enrichment department.
• Supports the Life Enrichment Director with administrative tasks as needed.
• Complete all tasks and functions while maintaining a high level of resident safety.
• Support in proper setup, clean up, and upkeep of activity areas and community spaces.
• Support transportation by attending outings, coordinating relevant administrative tasks, and upholding safety practices.
• Adhere to and uphold all standards in the Employee Handbook.
• Provide direction to Life Enrichment support roles (e.g., LEA, Shuttle Drivers) regarding day-to-day activities and responsibilities.
• Support functional responsibilities in absence of Life Enrichment Director as needed.
