Job summary

StoryPoint Grove City is seeking a Life Enrichment Director to organize and facilitate activities that enhance residents' welfare in our senior living community. You will lead a team, coordinate programs, ensure safety, and align services with our 1440 culture.

Responsibilities include directing life enrichment activities, managing budgets, collaborating with other departments, and maintaining standards while supporting a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of 3 years related experience and/or training preferred.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule which may include evenings weekends and holiday hours.
• Compassionate towards the senior population.
• Proficient in general computer skills.
• Must have prior experience leading a team.
• Organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Actively support our 1440 culture and pillars.
• Responsible for the overall direction planning communication and execution of activities and life skills in the Life Enrichment Department.
• Implement and maintain the Life Enrichment Standards for all community service offerings.
• Complete all tasks and functions while maintaining a high level of resident safety.
• Support in proper setup clean up and upkeep of activity areas and community spaces.
• Adhere to and uphold all standards in the Employee Handbook.
• Collaborate with other departments to create the best experience at the community.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule which may include evenings weekends and holiday hours.
• Lead train and hold accountability for the Life Enrichment support roles LEL LEA Shuttle Drivers.
• Provide direction to Life Enrichment support roles regarding day to day activities and responsibilities.
• Responsible for completion of all administrative tasks eg budget management pertaining to Life Enrichment with the ability to delegate where appropriate to Life Enrichment support roles.
• Support functional responsibilities in absence of Executive Director as needed.
