Job summary

StoneBridge Senior Living is seeking a Laundry Department team member to maintain clean, safe, and sanitary facilities and ensure an adequate linen supply for residents. Open house events highlight on-spot offers for qualified candidates.

Responsibilities include following schedules, cleaning surfaces, coordinating with nursing staff, proper waste disposal, and adhering to safety protocols with PPE usage. Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in a healthcare environment, Environmental Services preferred.
• Friendly attitude and excellent communication skills are required.
• Ability to express self in writing and oral communication within a care setting.

Responsibilities

• Follow work/cleaning schedules as closely as practical.
• Clean walls, ceilings, windows, mirrors, and floors per procedures.
• Coordinate laundry services with nursing during resident care areas.
• Dispose of trash and waste following facility policies (biohazardous where applicable).
• Post safety signs when hazards are present during housekeeping.
